moonlight shines upon her face
looking down to an empty space
hiding beneath the charcoal hair
is beauty that is beyond compare
abode of kindness and ewer of wisdom
eyes melt hearts like fire from sodom
monalisa's smile has been put to shame
by the inveigling lips of this lovely dame
akin to a white flower that blooms at night
a scent of sweetness much of adam's delight
when she walks gracefully inside the crowded room
she is like poetry scribbled in paper and plume
no man has ever beheld this lady
without being enticed by her beauty
and being held captive by her smile
makes all the effort seem worthwhile
====
a poem written by bard way back in november.
i didn't really pay attention to it for i was so drawn into something else... with someone else. now i realised why he took his time and effort in composing this, he wanted me to know that he does love me. he had loved me the first time he laid eyes on me and until now. boy! am i lucky to have him in my life now? i am... i really do.
there are no words to write to equal this but maybe i love you and thank you are enough.
