on the 26th of june, i met up with my friends from nursing school for a picnic. we went to buntzen lake and since it was my first time to go there, i thought it was an A-W-E-S-O-M-E place! i love the way how the picnic ground rested in between the mountains and then it overlooks the serene lake. for me, it was breathtaking.
apart from the place, the thought of seeing my friends and their families was something that i have looked forward to. been months or i think almost a year now that i haven't really spent a time or two with them. and seeing them made me realised that i missed them. and actually, this has been my ultimatum....and honestly, am so glad i heeded to this otherwise, i won't be able to see that place.
as for food:.... ahhhh! there were tons of food!!!! there was barbecue pork, shrimps, palabok, pinoy-style bistek, caldereta, chicken, and a whole lot more.... grabe! i never ate that much months-- hahaha. i was binging! hahahaha
seriously, it was a fun day!
after lunch, margaret, her grandmom and i decided to go for a stroll by the lake. well, more like margaret and i walked in the water. the water was so nice, it's cool and so good on the feet. it was one of the turning points of that day... i actually love company of margaret. i always did but that day, it was different. she's older and it was so fun seeing and being with her. gee! i love that kid. i really hope we'll get to spend a day like that again.
oh well, summer just started so who knows, eh?....
