...lefty

it has never occurred to me that being a lefty has it's downside, too.

well, not until i became an OR nurse, that is.... i have never realised that scissors are made only for the righties. Dang! no wonder i am having a hard time using all the scissors in the unit!

i have got to have a custom-made one for me, eh....

i thought being a lefty makes me unique in a positive way, but there are times i find it being such a weird thing for me. yeah! my left hand is indeed my dominant hand and i do everything, as in, EVERYTHING with my left hand.

the funny thing being a lefty, sometimes gets me so mixed-up with the left and the right when giving directions....HAHAHA!!! embarrassing, eh! it is, esp. when leading a patient to the OR. i usually find myself blushing!

anyways, the upside of being a lefty is during dinner. whenever i am using a fork and a knife, i needn't have to to worry about putting the knife down and transferring my fork to my left. convinient!!! *wink*

one time, an uncle ( a fellow lefty) told me that there's this certain shop in San Francisco that caters to all the lefties! and i can get some stuffs specially made for me... cool, eh!

hmmm.... that's a thing i need to reconsider. a pair of scissors made for me! :)
